I am writing this letter to inform you of resignation as Tax Collector for the Town of Hollis effective immediately.

This last year has by far been one of the worst of my life. I looked forward to serving the town of Hollis. When no one else was willing to step up. I truly did my homework and thought I was making a wise and informed choice.

The way I have been treated has been absolutely disgusting. From the backdoor dealings to the hostile work environment and lack of respect. I have endured what no one should ever have to.

I hope if you are able to find someone willing to fill this position and they will receive better treatment,

I also hope they are not coerced into choosing the current Deputy Tax Collector the way I was. This would be a great disservice for them and the town.

I will, however, not hold my breath.

I regret with my whole heart, ever taking this position. As my eyes have been opened to how this town that I was once proud to call home. Has really been spoiled by the gross acts of the Select Board and the towns' people who bow to the bureaucrats.

I also have not had one positive outcome from my time here.

It has caused me emotional, mental and financial hardship un needlingly.

Again, I was the only one willing to step up to do the job.

Hollis needs to do better
