Another week and still going at it -
A relatively quiet week this week. Mostly routine phone and visits about a number of personal issues. Nothing to write home about.
Arranged for some training for Friday morning while closed. The folks at Partners Bank and one a State Police Trooper were here to present safety in opening and closing, trips to the bank, what to do in the event of a crisis / emergency, suggestions for a safer, less vulnerable environment.
Joe P and I met to get started on the Financial Summit action items: Software review, financial capacity (staffing), and then the TIF meeting results based upon the TIF Agreement presented at your last meeting.planning, economic development, public safety.
Exchanged a few messages with Ron Smith regarding the above and the need to sit face-to-face.
Crafted the ad for the Deputy Tax Collector which should go out next week and post on our site. At the same time prepping for the nomination papers for the Tax Collector Job to be elected in November.
Spent some time reviewing job descriptions - They are a mess - very outdated. It may be best to look to the future - hold up a bit and see how the November election plays out.
Picked up an additional 10 cases of water from Poland Spring.
One final movement of money is needed to balance the year-end.
