Thank you!!

I’ll keep you posted. As I mentioned – completion of the draft may take a few more months.

Onward!

Hi!

Yeah, family called.

I am all for this alternative!

Hi –

You disappeared without a trace!

I was asked by the Comprehensive Plan Committee to explore alternatives (should they exist) to contracting with SMPDC for the review of their Draft plan – to the tune of $20,000+

My meeting this morning with the fellow from Kennebunk was centered on just that.

He suggested that we align the Plan Elements and Inventory Sections (which we have in the proposal from SMPDC) along with the completed draft Comp Plan from the committee and plug them into AI for editing and completion. He believes the result will be in near perfect and fully acceptable to the Maine Office of Community Affairs – the party responsible for review and compliance of the laws surrounding the completion of the plan.

The Maine Office reviews the plan and returns any questionable parts for additional edit and resubmission. Between these free resources – we might be able to save a few bucks.

He also suggested that he would be happy to review it as well as a courtesy of our business friendship.

Is the AI part something you might be able to do when the draft is completed? That might be in a couple months or more.

That would leave $20,000 plus in the coffer for the next project…whatever that may be.

I plan on dropping this news with the committee next week at their next meeting.

Thanks,

D
