Hello All,

The Maine Trails Program round two deadline has been extended to July 17, 2026.

The Maine Trails Program is a statewide initiative to support the design and development of trails for outdoor recreation and active transportation, administered by the Bureau of Parks and Lands (BPL) within the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.

Eligible projects include:

* Development and renovation of trails, trailheads, trailside amenities and support facilities

* River trail put ins and take outs

* Upgrading trails by incorporating Universal Access Design standards

* Acquisition of lands or easements for trail development
