Good morning –

Your constant PIA here – first thing 😊 It’s almost Friday !!

As I entered the building this morning, I noticed the sign in the lobby with direction arrows for the various departments. At the very bottom is “Select Board” and an arrow.

I think it is time to remove that and continue the training both inside and out that the Select Board doesn’t live here any longer. Now that Mary is no longer here it makes ore sense.

At the same time how about staring the thought process of changing the “Select Board” room to a small training / meeting room? Jack had a good idea that there should be a door – possibly a sliding “barn type” door to enable better function of the room. I am betting we could have one made and installed fairly inexpensively.

And finally – I have asked 2 or 3 things of late and received not a peep back. The two most recent were 1) my unused vacation and 2) through about those who wish attending the Celebration of Life for Ron’s Dad. Regarding the latter- I told all in the office to go if they wished and to try to keep it to 60-90 minutes. We are closed – and nobody will be impacted. No time off need be recorded.

Oh – and what about Dan’s thoughts about a later start of the Select Board meeting on 7/1 due to the Band playing at the Sports Complex. It is your meeting – not mine, however, my preference is to start as normal. Anybody who wants to can watch the recording of the meeting if it is important to them. The typical 4-5 people likely have a TV 😊. I am tried of evenings and “dinner” at 8 or 9 pm.

I will watch tonight’s meeting on my ipad.
