June 15, 2026 Crystal Gaudet Hollis Town Clerk 34 Town Farm Road Hollis, ME 04042 Dear Ms. Guadet: The Saco River Corridor Commission rules require that copies of applications for permits or variances be on file at the town or city clerk’s office in the municipality where the proposed use will take place. This allows municipal officials, planning board members, and abutters an opportunity to review the applications before the Commission takes action. We recently received applications from the following for development within the corridor: 1. Renee Lewis & Christian Penney, Application #17-192 —Seeking an after-the-fact permit to replace a septic system no closer than 85 feet from the normal high water line of the Saco River at 29 Salmon Falls Road (Map 2, Lot 4) in Hollis. 2. Bruce & Linda Theriault, Application #17-191 —Seeking a permit to grade and deposit fill no closer than 290 feet from the normal high water line of the Saco River at 60 Waters Edge (Map 10, Lot 18-6) in Hollis. 3. James Poitras & Kayla Nolette, Application #17-187 —Seeking an after-the-fact permit to construct a dock, two sheds, a concrete pad and pergola, two tarp sheds, a skateboard ramp, and a set of infiltration steps to and over the normal high water line of the Saco River at 97 Dennett Road (Map 3, Lot 46A), and on adjacent land in Hollis, Maine. a. This application was tabled at the May 2026 meeting. Full copies of these applications are available via the links above. Please keep this on file at your office for 60 days. A hard copy of the full applications can be sent via mail if desired. The applications will be heard at the Commission Meeting scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24 th , 2026, at the Dayton Town Hall at 33 Clarks Mill Road in Dayton, Maine.
