Hollis Select Board Transparency Archive

Greetings -

Now that the election is over and everyday life is more to the normal, I'd like revisit an idea that was floated earlier..that being converting the Select Board Room to a larger (than the little lobby room) meeting room with audio/video capabilities with an eye toward training and development.

During the past year, the only occupant was Mary - pretty much on a daily basis. Since the election - nobody has been here beyond a walk-through. On more than one occasion the space would have been extremely useful for a meeting of 8-10 and with the addition of a large TV screen Zoom would become an added benefit. The room is now a drop-zone for leftover, unused electronics, and many other items that could be stored elsewhere - or - in a closet type container.

I have briefly spoken with Alison at W.B. Mason and she is ready to return for a "what-if" discussion with me.

The cost of installing a sliding "Barn Door" arrangement would run $300 or less.
