A week to remember for many..fortunately not so much in Hollis - but not too far from here with hail, trees blown over, and more.

As you are likely already aware - the REVAL meeting and discussions have stirred the pot. Things have settled some since the past weekend, though I don't think it is over yet.

Here at the Town Hall, we have sign on to bug control and capture. The install of interior "traps" will happen soon and continue through the year. An assessment will be made in the future regarding critter capture or deterrent.

As allowed, I have been reviewing policies. There are a number of them that simply need to go. You will see them as they are completed. Accept or decline as you wish.

I watched the Planning Board meeting on Wednesday. A good meeting - the Board handled themselves quite well. There was some citizen participation that left a few questions on the table for legal to address. More to follow.

The Library alarm sounded near noon on Thursday. No harm - no issue.

The School signs are up and ready for the start of school. They look and act great - though we are told they may only operate when school is opening or closing for the day.So a silent sign should not fool you. They have received significant applause and praise on Face Book.

A number of visitors: Poland Spring suspects.I invited the PS Staff to a future Select Board meeting -to be scheduled later. Concerns about kids jumping in the river from the walls of the Saco River at the Salmon Falls bridge. And a number of casual conversations.

I got wind of impatience waiting for the alarm and security work to be completed at the Sports Complex. I sent a fairly direct message to A&B Security.

There's a camper on the Sports Complex property. Duane and the State Police are handling that.

I'm ready for the weekend.
