Welcome Danielle and congrats to you and Dan!

FYI – Danielle’s new e-mail for Select Board business is [email protected]. I sent her a separate e-mail at her PB e-mail regarding this and her town device.

Thanks,

Greetings All!

First and foremost – WELCOME Danielle! Now that the results are “certified” I send you a warm welcome!! I look forward to working with you in the years to come.

So – the other business at hand –

If you each would share with me your roles, tasks, assignments, etc. so I can review and determine what may be administrative / operational or what is policy in nature or specific task oriented.

We can then have an open and unified discussion during a regular meeting – open to the public.

Off the top of my head, I am still hopeful that each of you will take “ownership” and serve as liaison to one or more of the committees you appoint and oversee. I see that as a great way to signal their importance; realize they have a voice and also to first-hand have their valued business shared for all to see and hear.

I look forward to your reply.

Thanks,

Dick

Echoing Dan’s sentiments! Well played on the crocs!

Adding Danielle using her PB email for now.

Unfortunately, this isn’t something I believe we can have an executive session about as it falls outside the reasons for exec session. However, there are some paths forward:

- Brief open-session agenda item: Put “transition of outstanding select board assignments” as a 5-10 minute agenda item.

- Email/individual conversations with the town manager: Have the town manager (not the board collectively) reassign or redistribute liaison roles, project ownership, etc. as an administrative matter - as this is operational, not a board decision requiring a meeting.

Please reply individually with your thoughts.

Mike

Good afternoon Mary,

Again thank you for your service to the town over the last 6 years and for helping me get through my first year, i know its unofficial still but Danielle has some big corcs to fill.

I think the new board should hold an executive session (reason f?) to discuss these and divvy out how who is leading what.
