Sent late due to no email and I was out sick yesterday.
This was a mixed bag week for sure.
We conducted timekeeping training through the payroll provider which will start on June 2 for the week ending June 7. Under this process, the time worked is provided to the payroll company who then preps the posting. I am notified and review the payroll itemization and authorize the post. There are three ways currently that payroll is submitted: individually through either computer or phone, Parks and Rec. Ast. Dir. Chip submits all electronically for his crew and Chief Yong completes a single sheet for the unique Fire / EMT payroll.
I have continued review of policies and ordinances. Nearly all policies have been edited and are in very basic, handwritten, draft form. I have had them for a few months - but business at hand has hampered the next step.. These need to be placed on the meeting agenda(s) for discussion and adoption.
Mid-week had many discussion topics with residents some about the future of the Town, speed on the roads, - even TIF discussion and growth in the Town.
I received notice that we would be recipients of a set of School Crossing light poles that include dynamic speed indicators. These will be placed at each end of the school "zone" and remain ours as long as we maintain them and they continue to function.
Discussion with Primo concerning donations to Community Day and Summer Rec. Scholarships. Some funds will be forthcoming.
At the end of the week calls started at 7:30AM and traffic in the Town Hall didn't stop till after 4. Office hours and staff here after closing are concerns.
As you saw there are numerous items that need the Board's action.policy decisions.
Another wet weekend.
Thanks for listening.
