Good afternoon To be very honest with you, the use of the building as a heat or cooling shelter or station was set aside. The funds have not been released. I don’t believe because we don’t have the air-conditioning green light for the community center. We don’t have staffing we don’t have equipment. We don’t have anything beyond tables and chairs so this may be a bit more difficult than readily appears. I certainly can be overruled, but I don’t think that we are obligated to have the band at the Town Hall. We won’t get our meeting started that evening until who knows when. If it’s too hot to play then maybe it needs to be postponed. I know that’s not popular, but that’s my boat. You folks can carry it a different direction if you wish. We built this town hall with the big room with all the air conditioning we should use it as much as possible. I saw yes for thursday and probably friday too, not only to seniors and public but make sure the summer rec kids have a pace to go for a bit of AC time too. We also might want to think about moving the army band to the town hall on wednesday too, only a slight chance of storms but a foretasted heat index of 107 at the 6pm start time.
