  H ollis Special Town Meeting Warrant - August 5, 2026 Pg. 1 of 1 STATE OF MAINE Warrant for the Hollis Special Town Meeting August 5, 2026 STATE OF MAINE COUNTY OF YORK To Terry Walters, a Resident of the Town of Hollis in the County of York, State of Maine. Greetings: In the name of the State of Maine, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Hollis, in said county and in said state, qualified by law to vote in t T own affairs, to meet at the Hollis Meeting Room located at 3 4 Town Farm Road on Wednesday, the 5th day of August 202 6 A.D. (August 5, 2026 ) at 6:00 PM in the evening for the purpose of acting on the following Articles Articles 1 and 2 as set out below: Article 1: To elect a moderator by written ballot to preside at said town meeting. Article 2: Shall To see if the Town will vote to appropriate up to $265,000 from the Town’s existing Unassigned/Operation Fund Balance, which consists of funds the Town already holds and requires no new taxes to be raised Unassigned Fund Balance, for the purpose of to conduct ing a town - wide revaluation of real property; to authorize the Select Board to contract with one or more persons or entities, on terms and conditions the Select Board deems to be in the best interest of the Town, to perform all services and actions necessary to complete said re valuation, and to take all others actions necessary to arrange for and complete the process of conduc t ing said revaluation ?   STATE OF MAINE COUNTY OF YORK To Terry Walters, a Resident of the Town of Hollis in the County of York, State of Maine. Greetings: In the name of the State of Maine, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Hollis, in said county and state, qualified by law to vote in town affairs, to meet at the Hollis Meeting Room located at 34 Town Farm Road on Wednesday, the 5th day of August 2026 A.D. (August 5, 2026) at 6:00 PM in the evening for the purpose of acting on Articles 1 and 2 as set out below: Article 1: To elect a moderator by written ballot to preside at said town meeting.
